About This Game
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is a turn-based role-playing game released for the Nintendo Switch in September 2026, presented as a full remake of the second entry in the series. The story picks up directly where the first chapter ended: Estelle Bright, now a senior bracer, travels across the kingdom of Liberl searching for her missing partner Joshua, whose disappearance is tied to his hidden past and to the secret society known as Ouroboros.
Combat mixes fast Quick Battles for weaker enemies with full turn-based Command Battles, where positioning, turn order, and the orbment system decide the fight. Quartz set into each character’s orbment unlocks Arts, while Crafts and S-Crafts give every party member their own special techniques, and the new Brave Rush feature lets allies chain attacks together in command battles. Between story missions, players can take on bracer guild requests, fish, cook, and play poker, and the game is fully voiced in English and Japanese.
