About This Game
Back to the Dawn is a prison escape role-playing game for Nintendo Switch, released on March 5, 2026. It is set in Boulderton Prison, a maximum-security facility in a city of animals, and tells two separate stories: Thomas, a fox journalist framed for a crime while investigating a chemical plant scandal, and Bob, a panther detective sent in undercover to track down a notorious criminal hiding inside.
Inside the prison, you follow the daily routine while building your stats, learning skills, and forming ties with nearly 50 inmates spread across three rival gangs. With more than 100 quests, several different escape routes, and choices that change how each story ends, your goal is to gather evidence, expose the conspiracy behind your case, and find a way out before time runs out.
