About This Game
Saviors of Sapphire Wings / Stranger of Sword City Revisited is a two-in-one package of first-person dungeon-crawler RPGs. In Saviors of Sapphire Wings, a fallen hero returns to life 100 years after the Knights of the Round were defeated by Ol=Ohma, the Overlord of Darkness, and leads a new generation of knights through trapped dungeons to end his rule. Stranger of Sword City Revisited follows a plane crash survivor in Sword City, a place where the powers of Light, Darkness and Neutrality hold the balance, and the fate of the city rests on the Strangers who gather there.
Both games are explored in first person across grid-based dungeons, with parties built from different races and classes and turn-based battles fought in front and back rows. Traps can be set to corner rare monsters and win powerful treasure, bonds with allies grow as they survive battles together and unlock their true potential, and an automap keeps long dungeons manageable. Stranger of Sword City Revisited adds expanded character creation, new in-game events, and new items and equipment. The package is single player, in English and Japanese.
