Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a 3D action-adventure platformer for Nintendo Switch, released on September 24, 2024. It is a remake of the 2010 original and follows Mickey Mouse, who is pulled into the Wasteland, a forgotten world built from old and retired cartoon characters and attractions, where Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is the leading figure.
Mickey carries a magic paintbrush that sprays paint to restore objects and characters, or thinner to erase them, and the choice between the two changes how areas and encounters play out. The remake rebuilds the visuals of the original and adds new movement abilities, including a dash, a ground pound and a sprint, alongside side-scrolling levels based on classic cartoons. Collectible pins, concept art and film reels are hidden across the Wasteland for players who search each area fully.
