About This Game
Super Mario Odyssey is a 3D platformer from Nintendo, released on October 27, 2017. Mario sets out from the Mushroom Kingdom in a hat-shaped airship called the Odyssey to stop Bowser, who has kidnapped Princess Peach and plans a grand wedding, and he is joined by Cappy, a hat spirit whose home was also attacked by Bowser.
Mario’s main new ability is throwing Cappy to capture enemies and objects, taking control of things such as Goombas, a T. rex and tanks to solve puzzles and cross hazards. Each kingdom is an open area filled with Power Moons, which fuel the Odyssey for the trip to the next kingdom, and the game also includes collectible regional coins, changeable outfits and a two-player mode where a second player controls Cappy.
