About This Game
Chained Echoes is a turn-based role-playing game set on the continent of Valandis, where a long war between kingdoms is finally nearing its end. A band of heroes from different lands travels together to keep a weapon of mass destruction from reigniting the war, crossing countries still scarred by the fighting.
Enemies are visible on the map, and battles are fought in turns where managing the Overdrive bar is key: attacking and using skills fills it, while letting it overheat weakens your whole party. Characters learn new skills and equip crystals to grow stronger, and later the party pilots Sky Armor, giant suits used for both travel and heavy battles. A reward board tracks chains of finished challenges that pay out useful bonuses along the journey.
