About This Game
Hades II is a roguelike dungeon crawler that continues the story of the hit original, this time starring Melinoë, the Princess of the Underworld and sister of Zagreus. When Chronos, the Titan of Time, escapes his imprisonment and seizes control of the Underworld, Melinoë trains in witchcraft and sets out on a quest to stop him before he conquers Olympus itself.
Each run sends players battling through the Underworld and up to the surface, fighting waves of mythological enemies with fast, fluid combat built around the Nocturnal Arms, a set of magical weapons that can be upgraded between attempts. Omega moves unleash powerful attacks fueled by magick, while boons from the Olympian gods reshape every build, so no two escapes play the same. Between runs, the Crossroads hub offers new allies, upgrades, and story moments that carry the larger battle against Chronos forward.
